After more than 40 years of practice, I have decided to enter a new chapter in my life and retire from dentistry. My practice will be taken over by two experienced dentists, Dr Dheeren Padhiar and Dr. Raj Darji, who I believe will continue the high level of patient care, commitment to excellence and compassion that have been the guiding tenets of my career. I will be staying on as an Associate for a while to help make the transition as seamless as possible. Both of them are knowledgeable with the latest technological advances in dentistry and will strive to make your future visits comfortable, just as I have done over the last many years.

In addition, my entire staff will remain as employees of the practice. Sharon and Gabbi will remain as hygienists, Trish and Barb will continue to greet you at the front desk and Isa will be assisting, so you will still be seeing the same familiar faces during each future visit.

My patients have always been the focal point of my daily existence. I have forged strong bonds with you over the years, shared wonderful family milestones with you, and have watched patients who came to me as toddlers become parents themselves and bring their own children to me for treatment and care. Although I will miss you dearly, I believe that this is the right time for me to pursue new interests. I look forward to traveling the world with my wife, honing my photography skills, gardening and spending time with my grandchildren.

Let me introduce you to the new dentists who will be taking over my practice. Dr Padhiar is a Philadelphia area native who has a Bachelors of Science Degree and Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh from which he earned a Deans Scholar Award. He has completed specialized training in Invisalign, implants, advanced restorative procedures and 3D dental printing. Outside of dentistry, Dr Padhiar enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling and playing soccer.

Dr. Raj Darji was born and raised in South Jersey. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and his Doctorate in Dentistry from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr Darji is a strong proponent of continuing education and has broadened his talents in implant dentistry, Invisalign, root canal therapy and veneers. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, strength training, culinary exploration and watching/listening to comedy.

Associate Dr. William Gao was born and raised in New Jersey. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, followed by a general practice residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr Gao strives to provide compassionate, painless and quality dental care to all of his patients. He resides in Mount Laurel with his dog, Waffles. His hobbies include hiking, baking, and playing tennis.
