Natural-Looking Replacement Teeth Give Patients Strong Smiles

FACT: 69% of adults have lost at least one tooth.

An incomplete smile poses serious concerns. When one tooth is lost, others often follow. Studies show that if a missing tooth isn’t replaced, up to 20% of neighboring teeth will be lost in the next 4 to 8 years. Dr. Koplin designs comfortable, custom-fitted crown and bridgework to complete smiles hampered by missing teeth.

A bridge contains realistic prosthetic teeth to fill a void left by one or more missing teeth. (If you have missing teeth scattered throughout your smile, Dr. Koplin may recommend a partial denture.) The dentist will design your bridge to fit comfortably and look natural. He’ll apply dental crowns to the teeth adjacent to the gap in your smile to provide a secure foundation for your bridgework. Alternatively, Dr. Koplin may suggest dental implants.

Once in place, your crown and bridgework will restore clear speech, enable you to comfortably eat a variety of foods, and prevent your natural teeth from drifting out of position. You’ll have a smile that looks and feels like Nature intended.
